The Balanced Practice is a multidisciplinary team of health care providers who take an anti-diet and weight inclusive lens to support you in having a better relationship with food, your body & yourself. We believe in empowering you in your care and guiding you through the challenges you are currently facing so you can experience life fully.

Dietitian Team

Registered Dietitians (RD) combine their scientific knowledge with their love of food to support you in having a better relationship with food and your body. We believe that YOU are the expert of your body, and we are here to help you discover your balance in a judgment-free, collaborative way!

When working with the RDs at The Balanced Practice, you can expect to feel seen, heard and valued. We are here to support you through whatever food struggles you are facing and help you meet your goals.

We take an anti-diet and weight-inclusive approach to your care, which means that we do not use weight as a measure of success and see YOU as the human that you are with all of your nuances (and not just the body you live in).

RDs are the go-to nutrition experts, and when it comes to your food relationship, body image and health (without diet culture), The Balanced Practice is the place to be.

Therapy Team

While we know that starting therapy can sometimes feel awkward, it does not have to be that way!

Therapists are trained to support you in exploring your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to help you reach your goals. At The Balanced Practice, we aim to provide you with a safe and supportive environment that allows you to share, at your own pace, and get the support you need. For many, therapy is an important part of healing, working through some of life’s difficult challenges and understanding oneself better.

The Balanced Practice believes in a client-centered and collaborative approach (no one size fits all) which is why our therapists use various therapeutic modalities to best support you.
