It can be really scary to think about starting therapy. You might be worried about being judged by your therapist, being misunderstood, or not being able to share your most vulnerable self.
I value the therapeutic relationship above all else with all my clients. Our work together will start with building trust and rapport, where I will support you with unconditional positive regard. I prioritize viewing all clients in the context of their intersectional lives, meaning that aspects of their identity such as gender, sexuality, culture, ethnicity, and life experiences will be integrated into therapy.
I deeply value creating a personalized and fitting therapeutic environment that is conducive to fostering hope and positive changes.
Individuals (12+)
My work is informed by values that are trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, body/fat positive, LGBTQ2Si+ inclusive, and culturally sensitive. I bring into therapy my own lived experiences, such as being a second-generation immigrant, being diagnosed with ADHD, and as an individual who has recovered from an eating disorder and substance abuse.
I believe that holistic care is necessary to address any number of biological, psychological, and socio-cultural concerns that a client may bring into therapy with them. At TBP, I am passionate about the multi-disciplinary approach to treatment which ensures that all levels of client’s needs are being addressed.
