How does therapy work at The Balanced Practice?

Once you have decided to start therapy, the first step is to schedule a therapy assessment. This first 75-minute session is all about getting to know you, your current challenges, your situation, and your goals. From there, your therapist will start creating your personalized treatment plan. It’s important to note that your treatment plan is not set in stone. In fact, it is meant to be flexible and will be adjusted overtime as you move towards your goals.

Following the assessment, you can expect to meet with your therapist regularly (weekly or biweekly) as you progress through treatment. The frequency and duration will be a mutual agreement between you and your therapist.

When working with your therapist at The Balanced Practice, you can expect to feel seen, heard, and valued.
