My approach

The health and wellness field can be overwhelming, presumptuous, and unrealistic at times. We are constantly being fed ideas on how we should look, what we should eat, and how we should feel. This can leave us feeling hopeless and disconnected from ourselves.

I believe that for a therapeutic relationship to thrive, it is built on creating a trusting, honest, and collaborative atmosphere. I take a holistic perspective to treatment, using an eclectic approach that includes mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy, and somatic-based, trauma-informed care. I take on a client-centered approach, fluidly integrating different techniques based on your story.

I believe everyone is unique and capable of change and to do so, we need to understand ourselves better. I bring a warm and compassionate approach to creating a safe space for you to explore areas where you need healing.

More than just my work

  • My favourite quote is “recreate your heart hour after hour, for the tired heart goes blind” as it’s a delicate reminder to feed your soul.
  • What brings you a sense of ease? My animals and nature.
  • I’ve been a competitive athlete for most of my life until the pandemic shut down everything. This was the catalyst to changing my relationship with my body and it was probably one of the best things to happen to me.
  • Ice cream runs through my blood, there is always some in my freezer.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
