Starting the process of accessing care can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already carrying a lot. Reaching out for support can come with uncertainty and questions about where to start or what to expect.
My role is to make navigating the process feel as approachable and seamless as possible. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and provide guidance through each step along the way.
My goal is to ensure that clients feel welcomed, informed, and supported from their very first interaction with the team, so they can feel more at ease as they begin their journey.
What excites me most about working at The Balanced Practice is being part of a team that truly values connection, collaboration, and a client-centered approach. I’m inspired by the care and thoughtfulness our team brings to creating a space where clients can feel seen, heard, and respected.
I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Ottawa and continued my education with a Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health at Algonquin College. My education, experience working in community mental health and social services, and my own lived experience with disordered eating have shaped the way I show up in my role and deepened my appreciation for how meaningful first interactions with care can be.

Here at The Balanced Practice, we get it. We believe that you deserve more joy, more connection, and more fulfillment. After all, life is meant to be experienced fully (and not spent feeling stuck in our own heads). And we want to help, our team is available during the day and into the evening!
